New Design Platform “Designly” Launches to Rival Canva in the Graphic Design Space

A new player has entered the online graphic design arena. “Designly,” a cloud-based design platform, has officially launched with the goal of providing intuitive, drag-and-drop design tools for users ranging from students and marketers to small business owners and content creators. The platform is being seen as a strong alternative to the industry leader, Canva.

Developed by a team of tech entrepreneurs and designers from Bengaluru, Designly offers users a vast collection of customizable templates for social media posts, presentations, posters, flyers, and even video content. What sets it apart is its AI-powered design assistant, real-time team collaboration features, and seamless integration with platforms like Google Drive, Instagram, and Shopify.

“We believe that creativity should be accessible to everyone, not just professional designers,” said co-founder and CEO Rhea Malhotra at the official launch event. “Designly is built with simplicity and speed in mind, but also with enough depth to support more advanced users.”

Key features of Designly include:

  • Smart Templates powered by AI to match user content with the right layout
  • Brand Kit Manager to help startups and small businesses maintain consistency
  • Multi-Device Compatibility, including a powerful mobile app
  • Free and Premium Plans, making it accessible to all user groups

Designly enters a market that is rapidly growing, with an increasing demand for content creation tools amid the boom of digital marketing, remote work, and influencer branding. Industry analysts believe that Designly’s focus on user experience and artificial intelligence gives it a competitive edge.

Early adopters have praised the platform for its clean interface and collaborative tools. Rachit Verma, a digital marketer who beta-tested the product, said, “Designly gives me everything I need to create campaigns on the fly. The AI suggestions are actually helpful, and I don’t have to switch between different tools anymore.”

With funding secured from two major venture capital firms and plans to expand into the educational and enterprise sectors, Designly is gearing up for a big push in the coming months.

Whether it can dethrone Canva remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the design tech space just got a lot more exciting.
